What is Lucid Lane?

Lucid Lane provides daily comprehensive medication tapering and withdrawal management from habit-forming medications such as pain killers, benzos, anti-depressants and sleeping aids. Our personalized program provides coaching, guidance, therapy and medication management support from professional coaches and therapists on an ongoing basis to help you taper off of habit-forming medications safely and effectively. All this, while managing your withdrawal symptoms and providing tools to prevent any distress you may encounter.

 

What types of results can I expect?

Research shows that online interventions are as effective as face-to-face interventions for medication tapering. Our programs will empower you to reduce your dependence on habit-forming medications significantly within months and hopefully eliminate dependence completely. Results vary based on member's situations and abilities.

 

What is the time commitment?

Lucid Lane is intended to fit into your life and needs. You are required to provide daily feedback via our digital web intake form so that our care team can continue to monitor your condition and progress on an on-going basis. But other than that, we empower you and provide guidance for you to follow through on a daily basis. Results vary by members. Typically, you should see progress within weeks of starting the program. Our philosophy is to go slow and iteratively adjust as you make progress.

 

How personalized will my program be?

Your personal Health Coach working with doctors will create your unique care plan which is customized for your medication, situation and needs. Your care plan will evolve in congruence with your unique situation and will be retailored as often as necessary by our care team. Our goal is to break your medication dependence and to do this effectively we will build and optimize your personalized plan every step of the way based on our clinical protocol and philosophy.

 

Why do I need a Health Coach?

Your personal Health Coach will play an important role in gathering relevant information about your unique situation. They will then confer with doctors internally and together they will create your unique care plan. During the course of your program, your personal health coach will be digitally communicating with you and tracking relevant symptoms and variables DAILY and working with the care team on an on-going basis to ensure that you're making progress. You can expect regular communication with your Health Coach. You can also reach your Health Coach via email anytime with questions and concerns and she will get back to you promptly.

 

How do I sign up for Lucid Lane?

You can sign-up for Lucid Lane at this Sign-Up page. Fill out the short questionnaire, enroll in our monthly plan and our Health Coach will contact you immediately to on-board you into our program and start building your own unique tapering plan.

 

How old do I need to be for your program?

You need to be 18 years or older to participate in our program.

Will insurance cover LUCID LANE?

We currently do not accept health insurance.

 

How can I cancel my Lucid Lane subscription?

Please go to the Care Team Messaging page. Go to the Cancel Monthly Subscription section. Fill out the form and submit. We will cancel your subscription within 24 hours.

How do I sign-up and start the program?

Who are the coaches? Why do I need a coach?

Our Health Coaches are hired based on a few common principles. They are kind, empathic, non-judgemental, bright, responsible and competent. All the qualities that we think a Health Coach needs to have to help our members defeat their dependence on habit-forming medications.

 

Will I have the same Health coach throughout my program?

Yes. You will have the same coach throughout your program.

 

When I message my Health coach, am I connecting with a live person?

Yes. When you send a message to a Health Coach, a live person will review and respond to your message promptly.

 

How can I submit feedback (good or bad) about my coach?

Our personalized program provides coaching, guidance, therapy and medication management support from professional coaches and therapists on an ongoing basis to help you taper off of habit-forming medications safely and effectively. All this, while managing your withdrawal symptoms and providing tools to prevent any distress you may encounter. Our care team consists of coaches, therapists, mindfulness experts, social works, psychologists and survivors who are there to help you every step of the way.

 

How is it personalized for me?

Your personal Health Coach working with our internal doctors to create your unique tapering and care program which is customized for your medication, situation and needs. Your care plan will evolve in congruence with your unique situation and will be retailored as often as necessary by our care team. Our goal is to break your medication dependence and to do this effectively we will build and optimize your personalized plan every step of the way based on our clinical protocol and philosophy.

 

Is it effective? Does it work? How is Lucid Lane's approach proven?

As a member of Lucid Lane, you will receive world-class treatment from your very own comprehensive care team. Our philosophy is founded on clinical science based on decades of research. Our treatment plans are created by Stanford-trained medical doctors who are renowned in this field. Our all-inclusive daily care ideology is steeped in our philosophy that to help a person, you have to know the person's unique situation, which can change at any moment. We want you to know that we are there with you every step of the way.

Our chief medical advisor is Dr. Anna Lembke. She is a world renowned psychiatrist and is currently Chief of the Stanford Addiction Medicine Dual Diagnosis Clinic. She treats people who are dependent on opioids, stimulants, sedatives and sleeping pills. She has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles, chapters, and commentaries, and is author of the book: Drug Dealer, MD: How Doctors Were Duped, Patients Got Hooked, and Why It’s So Hard to Stop (Johns Hopkins University Press, November 2016).

Lucid Lane is built and backed by physicians and medical professionals from the world's most prominent medical institutions including Stanford University School of Medicine, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Emory University School of Medicine and University of Washington School of Medicine. What is the difference between in-person visit and telehealth?

Telehealth sessions are conducted over private video sessions. Research has shown them to be equally effective. At the same time, it improves access and convenience for our members.

 

What if I have an emergency?

If you are in an emergency situation, in imminent risk, have thoughts of hurting/killing yourself or anyone else, please call 911 or head to your nearest emergency room. We are not an emergency psychiatric service.

 

Do I have to provide feedback daily?

It is highly recommended that our Members provide daily feedback via the Care Team Messaging page. Daily Feedback will allow the care team to monitor your progress on a daily basis and optimize your plan as needed.

 

How do I provide daily feedback?

Once you on-board and start our program, we will remind you to fill out a Daily Feedback form.

 

What if I miss providing feedback?

Our care team will contact you to remind you to provide feedback so that we can continue to effectively monitor your progress.

 

Privacy

Is my information private?

Your privacy and security are paramount. We provide a fully accredited and licensed medical provider, with board-certified (and board-eligible) psychiatrists. Our systems, product and procedures are HIPAA compliant.

 

How do I know that my billing info is secure and will not be used to identify me?

To ensure anonymity, Lucid Lane uses a third party services that will verify, charge, and handle all billing on our behalf. This process is secure and completely private.
